So, since it's Spring/Summer and I have a bit more free time(kind of), I've decided to keep myself a little more busy by participating in Illustration Friday. The theme for this one was 'jump', so I went with this. Enjoy!
I love it Alyssa! She really looks like she just landed and she's about to jump up again. Did you ever play jump rope in elementary school? Could you do the special "double dutch" one?
Thanks, Miranda! It was really tricky to get her to look like she was actually jumping, so I'm glad it looks like she is. I jumped rope like every day in elementary school! They had this thing in elementary school where they had the professional jump rope people come and do stuff, and I thought they were so cool. So I decided to be awesome at it, too. And I learned how to do double dutch too, but I don't think I ever got very good at it, haha.
Oh my gosh that sounds legit! I think you should remember a certain sentence that you just said if you are ever feeling uninspired: "So I decided to be awesome at it, too." That would make me feel better no matter what was going on! But anyway, fantastic art as usual!
