Some Figure Drawings

Here are some figure drawings I never posted here from my last life drawing class. I loved this class, and I miss it a ton. I really enjoyed working with costumed models. It was so much fun drawing in all the folds in the clothing.

The Cheshire Cat

This actually started out as a quick exercise, but then it got way out of hand, haha. I did a piece similar to this about 3 years ago, and I wanted to see how much I’ve improved since then.
You can check out the original illustration here

Also, if you're interested in seeing the process of this illustration, you can check out this time-lapse video

Mages is Here!

About a year ago, I started working on this project. It is officially here in physical form, and I am so happy with how it turned out! Here is the box art as well as the inside components. I also included some of my favorite characters from the game. There are 17 characters in total as well as a bunch of other resource and item cards that I illustrated. I’ve played the game, and it’s really fun!
Mages is a tabletop game for 2 to 5 players. The gameplay is an exciting mix between games like Bang! and Settlers of Catan. You must use resources to buy spells, level up your character, and win the Title of Master Mage!
There’s more info about the game at normalgamesco.com. You can even buy a copy of the game there!

Discovery

As some of you may know,  I've recently graduated from Brigham Young University in Illustration! (yay!)
For my final project, I decided to do a series of illustration based on a story I created called 'Discovery'.  I recently took my exhibition down, and I'm so grateful for those of you who got to see it in person! For those of you who didn't have the chance to, here are all of the illustrations from the show along with some extra photos of the display.

Uncle's Chemistry Room

Into the Woods

Discovery

Journey

The Guardian

Meeting

Here are some photos of the actual setup and display!

Here's right after I finished framing everything. Thanks, dad for making these frames for me! They turned out so great.

I thought that I took a straight-on picture of both sides, but I guess not!

Here's my dad next to my display

The cards were disappearing like crazy! I should have printed out more, but I'm glad they were all taken. Sorry to those who didn't get to take one! Thanks again to my dad who made my cool card holder!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this happen. I couldn't have done it without all of you.
